Pacak Palasasav, a Paiwan musician from the Kulaluce in Taiwu Township, Pingtung, has competed in countless music contests, where his distinctive creativity has stood out. In 2021, he won the Grand Prize at the PASIWALI Music Awards, and in 2023 he released his debut Indigenous-language album Tiaken (“Myself”), which explores themes of gender issues and cultural consciousness. The album earned him the top honor, the Spirit Award, at the second Q Power Awards. This year, Pacak takes the lead once again, joining forces with his sisters on stage to let everyone see that the rainbow 🌈 can shine just as bright at night.
