The Naluwan Dance Troupe, established in 1990 under the guidance of the Council of Indigenous Peoples (CIP) and supported by the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Center (IPCDC), is based at the Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park in Majia Township, Pingtung County. Rooted in the spirit of Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples, the troupe conducts extensive field research and interviews to transform collective memories, languages, rituals, and lived experiences into stage productions that embody profound cultural meaning and contemporary artistic expression. Through performance, audiences are invited to experience the stories and values of Indigenous life.
