MAWIZA is a metal band from Wallmapu (what is now known as Chile and Argentina) belonging to the Mapuche nation that sings in Mapuzungun, the native language of their tribe. MAWIZA was formed with the purpose of preserving the ancestral roots that run through their veins, rescuing the morality that defines the human being and their relationship with the earth and nature and promoting the conservation of biodiversity guided by the worldview and struggle of the Mapuche nation.
