Rizal Hadi is a talented multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, handcrafted instrument maker, music producer, and social activist from West Java, Indonesia. He dedicates his music and career to building social change and promoting creativity in Indonesia and globally. Rizal utilizes his knowledge of bamboo as a material to develop his unique innovative instrument called Rasendriya. It combines the guitar, didgeridoo (a wind instrument), and celempung (a percussion instrument). Rizal further explores the use of bamboo as an instrument. His latest project is creating Lapsteel Guitar & Strings with Bamboo. He hybridizes folk, rock, reggae, and blues with eclectic ethnic rhythms, creating a distinctive folk music style.
