The band was formed in the mid-1980s, during the heyday of rock music, and was deeply influenced by that vibrant scene. It all began when Wu Hsin-Fa (BASUYA) gathered fellow music enthusiasts, sparking the rise of Firstgrowth. Since its founding, the band has been active for more than 30 years. Over the years, its members has undergone changes due to various circumstances, and they have released three albums. In the early years of the Spring Scream Music Festival, they were regular performers. Later, however, the group took a break as farming duties became more demanding (after all, we are happy yet hard-working farmers…). Nowadays, during breaks from the busy farming seasons, they still come together to rehearse, warm up with some songs, and occasionally surprise audiences with their performances.
