We are a group of young people from the Farangaw Tribe, dedicated to preserving and passing down the traditional Amis songs taught by our elders — ensuring that this heritage is never forgotten. Among these traditions, the most iconic singing style, Macacadaay, a form of polyphonic indigenous music, is regarded as one of the tribe’s most precious cultural treasures. We continue to learn these traditional songs from our elders through every possible way, hoping to share the beauty of Farangaw’s musical culture with more people. Beyond singing, we are also committed to learning other aspects of our tribe’s traditional culture — allowing its uniqueness to shine and evolve through modern expressions, carrying it forward for generations to come.
